ABOUT
Hello! I am an award-winning filmmaker and photographer regarded for delivering well-crafted storytelling paired with elegant imagery.
I've worked all over the world and have a strong breadth of experience creating across genres such as documentary, branded content, editorial, educational, and animation.
Transitioning from a successful career as a still photographer, I ventured into motion projects as a film director and producer. My first film, "Kim Swims," a feature documentary, garnered international acclaim at nineteen film festivals, securing honors like Audience Favorite, Best Director, and Opening Night film. This elegant sports documentary explores universal themes of resilience and nature's gifts, resonating beyond the niche of open water swimming. Acquired for global distribution, the film streamed on Netflix and remains available on Amazon Prime.
During my debut feature film production, I co-directed a short film on sustainability, earning high recognition and securing distribution. Subsequently, I have creative produced and directed content for MasterClass and Big Think, which ranks as top-performers and has earned a Gold TELLY award. No matter the subject, I aim to imbue my work with tangible artistry and a sense of emotional depth.
As a fine art photographer, one of my fondest projects is a documentary series of portraits I produced in Iceland (some of this work is included here and here). I continue to be drawn to aspects of people in the natural elements and stories of the human experience that connect us all.
Available worldwide for film projects and fine art commissions. Editioned art prints are also available. Please inquire.
